Oatmilk AMS began as a personal art project of me, inspired by my home in Amsterdam and my love for Delft blue. I painted a carton of oat milk on linen, adorned with a Delft blue pattern—a playful nod to traditional Dutch style with a modern twist. I’ve always been drawn to the shape of a milk carton and wanted a unique piece that would fit my home while reflecting a part of Amsterdam and the 'Havermelkelite'.

To my surprise, people responded enthusiastically, expressing interest in having one of their own. That feedback was the seed that grew into Wallderlust. While I had always dreamed of creating something to share, I hadn’t imagined it would begin with the oat milk carton. Yet, Oatmilk AMS has come to represent more than just a single artwork; it’s the beginning of a journey and a brand. It brings a touch of liveliness and lightness into a space, sparking conversation and adding a unique, playful detail.
